A method for adjusting the inverse temperature of Boltzmann Distribution

I have uploaded a short note about statistical evolutionary algorithms. In evolutionary algorithms, the Boltzmann distribution is important. However, its parameter, the inverse temperature, is difficult to control. My doctor thesis shows a method to overcome this difficulty. The note provides calculation details, that is, free energy and moment generation, which are well known in statistical physics.
